Introduction
Third Reality, Inc.(referred to as "we", "us", or "our") operates http://www.3reality.com(hereinafter referred to as "App").
This page informs you of our policy on the collection, use and disclosure of personal information from users of our App.
We will only use your personal information to provide and improve the App. By using the App, it demonstrates that you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
The purpose of collecting personal information is to provide you with products and/or services, and to ensure that we comply with applicable laws, regulations and other regulatory requirements. You have the right to choose whether or not to provide the information we have requested, but in most cases, if you do not provide your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with our services or respond to your queries. The functions include:
We provide Third Reality services so that you can securely connect and manage your smart devices. We may collect information that related to your login , cell phone, IP address, smart, and information related to account and smart device. This information will be used to provide you functions of smart device quick connection, connection, discovery of nearby devices and device management. The above information is listed in detail as follows.
· Information of login account : account number, nickname, and avatar information.
· Mobile phone related information：hardware ID(imsi、imei、meid、HSN、SIM card ID、OAID、Mac address、Android ID)，phone model, system version information, system language, phone country or region, app store version number, phone screen size and resolution, CPU and related information of display device.
· Information collected during the process of connecting a smart device: depending on the type of smart device you need to link, we may collect,
o Smart devices connected via Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi information (SSID, BSSID, Mac address of Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi password), device Mac address, device ID.
o Smart devices connected via Wi-Fi after establishing a local connection via Bluetooth: Wi-Fi information (SSID, BSSID, Mac address of Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi password), device Mac address, device Bluetooth Mac address.
o Smart devices connected via Bluetooth: device Bluetooth Mac address, device ID.
o Smart devices connected via Zigbee: device Mac address, device ID
In order to better enjoy the convenience of smart devices, we may use the information of your bound smart devices to recommend other smart devices that can be intelligently linked with your bound devices. (For example, when you have added the gateway, we will recommend smart switches and sensors that can be intelligently added to the gateway).
In order to provide you with a quick and convenient smart device control experience, you can quickly realize smart device control and you can check the status of smart device via the quickcards of app , voice control, buttons of speaker devices and other portals before you click into the device extensions, if the device category supports. We will collect the following information.
· Networking status of device: for you to check the connection status of device and display different operation interfaces according to the networking status.
· Information of device status: to enable you to check the device status and realize device control.
If you have connected temperature&humidity sensor, motion sensors, etc., we also need to collect:
· Information about the environment around the device: to make sure that you can accurately check information about the environment nearby that detected by the sensors, such as temperature, humidity and whether people are passing by.
To enable you to better enjoy the control and management of your smart devices provided by Third Reality, we may collect and use your personal information for the following additional functions. If you do not provide such personal information, you can still use the basic services of Third Reality, but you may not be able to use these additional features that can bring you convenience. These additional features include:
In order to continue to enjoy the latest service, we may use the current version information of your app , phone model for providing you with the upgrade service of app . Also, we may collect the list and version number of your connected smart devices for the purpose of providing you with smart device upgrades to ensure that you have access to the latest version of the service (including firmware versions).
To help you better use your smart device, we will provide you with selected articles with which the content is related to smart devices. We do not collect any information from you when reading this content.

We may collect the email address you fill in, which will be used to allow us to better understand the problem you are having and to contact you.
In addition, the following device permissions may be triggered when you use Third Reality. In order to enable you to better manage your information, we will simultaneously inform you of the purpose of the use of this permission and the possible impact on your use of the service if you do not turn on this permission when you apply for the permission during the product use process, please review it carefully. You can choose whether to authorize the following permissions before using special functions. At the same time, you can change the authorization status at any time through the permission setting page of your device or the "My-Settings-System Permissions Management" page in the Third Reality App.
The following are the details of the relevant functions and permissions, listed for your reference.
1.3.1 Read and write external storage (for Android): For storing account information and device local information, etc.
1.3.2 Location permissions (for Android and iOS versions): for determining regions, home location management, smart device automation, discovering nearby smart devices, and discovering nearby WLAN listings.
1.3.3 Enable WLAN access (for Android and iOS versions): Applied to connect to the WIFI emitted by the device for device communication when the device is fast connected.
1.3.4 Enable Bluetooth access (Android and iOS version): Applied to connect the Bluetooth signal emitted by the device when the device is connected quickly for device communication; for smart devices connected via Bluetooth, Bluetooth permission is also required for communication.
1.3.5 Notification permission(Android and iOS version): offer the function of mobile phone notification when the device is triggered.
1. The personal information is related to the obligations of the controller of personal information under laws and regulations.
2. The personal information is directly related to national security and national defense security；
3. The personal information is directly related to public safety, public health, and major public interests;
4. The personal information is directly related to criminal investigations, prosecutions, trials, or execution of judgments;
5. The personal information is essential for protecting major legitimate rights (including life and property) and interests of the personal information subject or other people, but it is hard to obtain the subject's consent;
6. The personal information collected is made public by the subject at their own discretion;
7. The personal information is necessary for us to sign and perform the contract as required by you;
8. The personal information is collected from public sources, such as news reports or government announcements;
9. The personal information is necessary to maintain the safe and steady operation of products and/or services provided, such as for discovering and handling faults of products and/or services;
10. The personal information is required for legal news releases and the controller of personal information is news media;
11. The personal information is de-identified in the results of statistical or academic research based on public interest, when the owner of the personal information is academic and research institute and for the public interest that is necessary to statistical or academic research.
We may also collect other types of information which can’t be directly recognized a special individual (information which may not be defined as personal information).Such as statistical data generated when you use a specific service, such as sign-in/sign-out records, interaction records, and error records when you use Mi Account services. The purpose of such collection is to improve the services we provide to you. The type and amount of information collected depends on how you use our products and/or services. We aggregate this information. In its aggregated form, data is not personal information and cannot be used to identify you. However, if we combine non-personally identifiable information with personal information, such combined information will be treated as personal information for as long as it remains combined.
Technologies such as cookies, web beacons and scripts are used by Third Reality. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movements around the website and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis. These technologies help us better understand users' behaviour, tell us which parts of our websites people have visited, as well as facilitate and measure the effectiveness of advertisements and web searches. We treat information collected by cookies and other technologies as non personal information, except where Internet Protocol (IP) addresses or similar identifiers are considered personal information by local laws.
We retain personal information for the period necessary for the purpose of the information collection described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable laws. We will cease to retain and delete or anonymize personal information once the purpose of collection is fulfilled, or after we confirm your request for erasure, or after we terminate the operation of the corresponding service. An exception to this is personal information that we are processing for public interest, scientific, historical research, or statistical purposes. Xiaomi will continue to retain this type of information for longer than its standard retention period, where permitted based on applicable laws or your request, even if further data processing is not related to the original purpose of collection.

If we make a material change to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you via pop-ups in mobile devices so that you can learn about the information we collect and how we use it. Your continued use of the products and services on the website, mobile and/or any other device will be subject to the updated Privacy Policy.
